The Leopard - Robyn Hitchcock and The Egyptians
Released as a single, 1986 (do I have that right?) ... included as a bonus track, along with a demo of the same song, on the CD release of Element of Light.

Jim Infantino - Cut Off Your Head

cut off your head by jim infantino from the 1996 album Titanic from the liner notes: "This song is really about my experience with the writings of a Tibetan Lama. The five buddha natures are Padma, Ratna, Karma, Vajra, and Buddha. The four noble truths are 'there is suffering', 'there is a cause for suffering', 'there is a goal to be obtained apart from suffering', and 'there is a path to that ...

Monty Python - Undertaker Sketch

The vinyl version of the Undertaker Sketch. This version is easier to follow than the one presented on BBC Television because it lacks the staged audience outrage, in which the audience shouts objections and finally storms the stage, incidentally occluding many of the best exchanges. This audience participation was included in the TV presentation because the censors thought this sketch to be to...

This is the best shit ever
Good covers band
Absolutely fuckin incredible
All of these covers are excellent, but this one in particular is ecstatic. It's up there with The Great Pretender which came out really well too
Legendary
Set the speed to 1.25 and it's perfect. Sacrilege? Maybe, but I have issues with the Mogadon like tempo.
This is amazing! Anybody feel some Beefheart influence? So damn good.

Wicked cover Unsurpassed in cool factor
"We're on a train to nowhere...."
Gracious me. They flat murdered it! Tremendous work.....have listened to it (?) many times....... A glistening bit of the best of pop......thanks!
Μωρά στη φωτιά κιετσι
Wow this is awesome!! Brian Eno has been my favorite musical genius for longer than I can remember.
A beautiful thing!
I had to pull over and stop the car when this came on the radio. I used my new fangled phone to look it up immediately. And by serendiptity, it showed up in the Used Bin a few weeks later so I snatched it up.
neu seed sees me 😁
This song is dream-like, it almost puts me into an altered state.
One of my fave Robyn songs. Not released as a single, it only appeared as a CD bonus track (Robyn was one of the earliest people I can remember putting bonus stuff on CDs; Element of LIght had "Black Crow Knows" and "The Leopard". (inexplicably "The Can Opener" and "The Crawling" WERE b-sides of singles!). "I Often Dream Of Trains" similarly came with three bonus tracks on it's very first CD release: I Used To Say I Love You, Mellow Together and My Favourite Buildings....plus Winter Love and Bones In The Ground (which had come out on The Bells of Rhymney 12"). The Gotta Let This Hen Out cd included "Only The Stones Remain" which had come out separately as a single; Fegmania included the electric tracks from "Bells Of Rhymney" as well as "Somebody" and "Dwarfbeat" which were on the "Heaven" 12". (I think I've accounted for all those bonus tracks!) I could not believe that nuggets like "The Leopard" or "I Used To Say I Love You" had been sidelined! It seemed like there was no end to his great songs. He had a hell of a run from the 70s-late 80s (and still could come out with something great after that, but definitely from Soft Boys to "Eye" (and leaving out most of Perspex Island!) that was an incredibly fertile period. PS: Andy Metcalfe's bass playing on "The Leopard" is incredible. (Ditto "Black Crow Knows", "Raymond CHandler Evening", "Winchester" and pretty much the whole Element of Light album!)
イントロがサビであり、サビのみの曲。
Awful brings nothing to this wonderful toon
hammer
Brilliant, fun and exciting.
So great! First time hearing this.
So good, so good, so amazingly good.
I love Eno but I have to say this version might be better than Eno's original. Bauhaus really nailed it.
My absolute favourite Python sketch. 😍
I grew up in those first 4 prog rock records and this cover is awesome.
the premier performance of the Enorchestra at the SF Eagle was stupendous. They did the entire Taking Tiger Mountain record. Caroleen wore a doctor's lab coat and glasses. it was all perfect. Too bad there aren't any really good live recordings.
Surely one of Eno's very best compositions - the way I describe it is, "radical joy".
Love listening to this song while im high and freaking out
Quite wonderous! As a hard nosed Eno lunatic, I listened to this with a sense of dread... I was right? wrong wrong ...... This record is spectacular. Yep, that's the correct technical term. Thank you folks!
Best song on their cover of the entire "Taking Tiger Mountain" album
I guess this is where A Certain Ration got their name.
funnier if you imagine john cleese being prince charles
Fred! I think we've got an eater!
OMG
💜🤘🏿
My fav sketch. It was great on the tv show.
I'm incredibly offended...that this isn't taught in schools.
OMG don’t offend the snowflake 20 somethings ! Horror of horrors. Let them continue getting their kicks from cemeteries 😂
Great. But Eno's was better
Me Like. Fab !!!
Yup....from Canada😁
This is absolutely incredible!! I really love how near the end the bass starts doing something different to the original but actually so amazing that it should have been in the original.
We deal with stiffs.
Brian Eno (801)
Eno said he heard "we are the 801." in a dream!!!
finally, a wonderful cover that doesn't make me want to snap it right off after 5 seconds.
